                 Remark Office OMR 5.5.1 Update

Thank you for using Remark Office OMR 5. The Remark Office
OMR 5.5.1 Update adds some new features and corrects a few
minor problems since the original 5.0.0 release. To install
the update, double click the ROO551Up.exe file to launch the
update and then follow the on-screen instructions.  The
following are the changes/additions that were made:


NEW FEATURES:

1.  Remark Quick Stats will now display graphs to the right of the
    tables in the Item Analysis report. In order to display the 
    graphs to the right of the table: 1) you must specify side by 
    side graphing options under View|Preferences|Item Analysis 
    (Survey) or Item Analysis (Grade), and 2) the graphs must be 
    small enough to fit to the right of the table. Graph sizes 
    can be adjusted by double selecting a percentage size under 
    View|Preferences|Graph. If the graph is too large, it will
    automatically appear below the table. Whether the graph
    will fit next to the table is also dependent on how many 
    items are displayed in the table.

2.  Remark Office OMR can now open and save data to the Sybase
    file format via the ODBC driver.

ISSUES ADDRESSED:

1. The frequency reports in Remark Quick Stats now display the 
   ranges without any overlap (e.g., 90-100=A, 80-89=B, etc.)

2. The Survey System Format: An issue with not saving data in 
   the last column of the template grid was corrected.

3. SPSS Format: The SPSS file format allows a maximum of 255 
   characters. If this amount is exceeded, the cell will appear 
   as a BLANK.

4. A problem was corrected When grading more than 2 subtests 
   where the Respondent Statistics did not report the Grade or 
   Percent Score for the subtests higher than 2.

5. A problem was corrected where Comment reports did not scale
   correctly unless the system being used had a postscript 
   printer as its default printer.

6. A problem with the Grade Wizard not restoring grade scales
   saved with grade templates was corrected.

7. A problem with the Grade Wizard not restoring multiple ID
   fields when grade templates are opened was corrected.

8. A problem was corrected with templates containing more than 9 
   pages where image files were not be sorted in ascending order
   (e.g., the images would appear as abcd0001Page1.pcx, 
   abcd00010.pcx, abcd0002.pcx and so forth). The images are now 
   stored in ascending order.
