Thank you for using Remark Office OMR 5. The Remark Office
OMR 5.5.2 corrects a few minor problems since the original 
5.0.0 release. To install the update, double click the 
Roo552up.exe file to launch the update and then follow the 
on-screen instructions. 

The following fixes were made:

Q975.  INVALID PATTERN ERROR IN TEMPLATE EDITOR  

FIXED: An invalid pattern error that occurred when clicking OK 
in the field properties window of Grid fields in the Remark 
Office OMR Template Editor when using Russian windows (using
the Cyrillic font).

Q1173.  IMAGE FIELD RECOGNITION: FALSE POSITIVES

FIXED: Image fields using Detect the Presence of Handwriting
were producing false positives in some cases.

Q1108.  NO IMAGE IN REVIEW MODE

FIXED: When using Review Mode a gray window (no image) randomly 
appeared on some systems. The image of the form did not appear.

Q1120.  AUTOMATION ERROR #2147417848 WHEN DOUBLE CLICKING CELLS

FIXED: An automation error occurred randomly when double clicking
grid cells containing data.

Q1248.  OVERFLOW ERROR WHEN READING LONG COMMAND LINES 

FIXED: If reading a list of images with greater than 32,767 characters
via the command line or Easy Mode, an Overflow error occurred.

Q1349.  INCORRECT FILE PERMISSIONS WHEN SAVING DATA FILES 

FIXED: When saving to the Remark (RMK) and custom text wizard file 
formats, Remark Office OMR was creating a temporary file in the default 
system temp directory. This resulted in incorrect file permissions 
being associated with the file.

Q1510.  WINDOW SIZE IN WINDOWS XP

FIXED: Windows XP uses different heights for the title bar on windows 
which in turn was causing items on screens to be misplaced, including
tabs becoming partially hidden. Corrections were made so that all
items would be properly placed within the windows.

Q1523.  MISSING DATA FOR JOINED LIST FIELDS (SPSS ONLY)

FIXED: For joined List fields only the values from the first column 
in the joined field were being exported to SPSS. The remaining values 
were considered missing if they were selected.

Q1722.  GRADING TEXTUAL FIELDS

FIXED: Grading textual non-multiple choices questions (e.g., grid, 
add, image, input) always returned incorrect even when the answer 
was correct.

Q1700.  REVIEW MODE LOCK UP

FIXED: Review mode would lock up after processing a group of images 
on Windows 2000 and XP operating systems.
