GESS Education Exhibition Dubai 2009

Gulf Education Supplies and Solutions Exhibition (GESS) 2009 was held in Dubai from March 10-12, 2009.

The exhibition was aimed at educational suppliers in the extended Gulf region, officials from education ministries and international schools in the region. OMR Solutions, a division of IndiaOutsources, participated with Plustek to showcase its various products and services in education.

Asia IT Expo 2008

Asia's Largest IT Expo was held from August 29th to 31st, 2008 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, India. OMR Solutions, a division of IndiaOutsources, showcased its various products and services.

OMR Solutions was launching a new scanner with OMR and OCR capability. Mr Naotake FURUYA from Sekonic Corp. Japan, International Sales & Marketing Dept., was also present. The team demonstrated how organisations could use OMR systems for customer surveys, feedback, employee examinations and recruitment.

Asia IT EXPO 2007 was held at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. The original news page reports that OMR Solutions clients had again fared best in the country.

15th Convergence IT Fair

The 15th Convergence IT Fair, described as South Asia's Largest IT Fair, was held from March 20th to 22nd, 2007 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. OMR Solutions, a division of IndiaOutsources, showcased its products and services.

OMR Solutions announced a new scanner with OMR and OCR capability and demonstrated how organisations could use its systems for customer surveys, feedback, employee examinations and recruitment. The Mobile division also showcased mobile application development services, with SMS Storm as a centre of attraction.

Visitors were invited to Hall 8, stand A4.

Global TIE 2006

OMR Solutions' participation in Global TIE, held at CMS, Lucknow, gave visitors an opportunity to learn more about OMR scanners and readers, including Sekonic SR2300, Avision and Fujitsu, and software including Remark Classic, Remark Office, Remark Web Survey, Magenta and CharacTell for OCR/ICR.

Vision OMR launched

Vision OMR, a grading and analysis tool for Sekonic OMR Readers, was launched. The ceremonial installation was done by Mr. Rohit Gupta with the developer team.

The software was developed by the IndiaOutsources team in its offshore development office at Agra. Its highlighted feature was Scan and Grade with high-speed OMR readers, with the software designed to be friendly for operators.

Remark Office OMR used for Chamber of Commerce election

Remark Office OMR was used to process the ballots of the National Chamber of Industries and Commerce, UP. The election was conducted using OMR technology for the posts of Vice President, Treasurer and Member Managing Committee.

The source reports that the result-processing task took only an hour with Remark Office OMR and the scanner supplied by OMR Solutions, including complex calculations.

OMR Solutions showcased the OMR Scanner SR5500 and Remark Series, continuing its commitment towards OMR technology and creating awareness among corporates, education institutes and marketing agencies.

OMR Solutions at IT India Fair 2005

OMR Solutions, a division of IndiaOutsources, showcased its expanding OMR product line-up at IT India Fair 2005. The Remark Series and its applications were presented by knowledgeable staff, with the Sekonic SR5500 high-speed machine from Japan, rated at 5,500 sheets per hour, as an attraction.

SMS broadcasting, SMS Storm, FormStorm for ICR data collection and Magenta for OMR sheet design were also featured. The company presented solutions for surveys, tests, form processing, data management and OMR/OCR/ICR.

OMR Workshop with Principia Products and Scanning Systems

Mr. Victor Berruti from Principia Products and Mr. Poh Heng from Scanning Systems participated in an OMR workshop with media representatives, schools and corporates. Mr. Sumit Agarwal welcomed them and Mr. Amit Sharma presented the product line-up to the media.

Mr. Amit Sharma stated that OMR Solutions represented leaders of OMR and could deliver solutions across the country. Mr. Rohit Gupta, IT Consultant to IndiaOutsources, said the presence of Mr. Victor provided encouragement and assurance of international-standard services with a personal touch.

Printpack 2005

Printpack 2005, a biannual event for printers and publishers, provided an opportunity to see complete OMR processes and solutions in one place. In association with Autoprint, Coimbatore, OMR Solutions participated in the event.

The participation helped universities and the education industry understand in-house examination units, printing units and software requirements. OMR Solutions and its premium partners demonstrated the Sekonic SR2300 OMR Reader, Remark Classic OMR and Magenta for OMR sheet designing.

Principia Products, developer of Remark Classic OMR and Remark Office OMR, had joined hands with IndiaOutsources to market its products in the Indian market. Sekonic Corp. was also going to display its fast and accurate OMR scanners, while Scanning Systems and Charactell FormStorm were expected to be part of the OMR and ICR/OCR showcase.

OMR Solutions announced the launch of its website and invited visitors to learn about OMR technology under one roof.
